July decided to go out with a bang. Wind gusts above 100 miles per hour hit the area of Blue Dog Lake near Waubay early in the morning July 31, 2008. We had to park on the road just off of US Highway 12 because there were trees blocking the road.
The trees were not just blown over but actually uprooted.
